Happy New Year from New Horizon
We are so looking forward to the summer when we come together to explore our theme “EXTRA-ordinary” – treasure in jars of clay – from Saturday 3rd to Friday 9 August 2024. We believe God is going to do something special among as as our speakers open God’s Word to us and as we worship together, united in Christ. We are so grateful that God choses to place the richness of His glory into ordinary men and women like us. And when He does that, extraordinary things start to happen in our lives, in our churches and in our communities.
Over so many years, we have seen God do extraordinary things through the ministry of New Horizon and we are so grateful for the team of people who help to make that happen from the Board and Management Team to our supporters, volunteers and our (tiny) staff team as well as everybody who joins us in the Big Blue Tent each summer.
The Duke of Edinburgh Team
Two of the most dynamic and vital teams at New Horizon are those who take part in a Duke of Edinburgh residential – both during set-up week and during the week of New Horizon itself. These energetic young people are working towards their gold Duke of Edinburgh awards. They make a huge contribution to New Horizon – and have a lot of fun at the same time!
