It is just five months until we gather in Coleraine for a feast of Bible teaching, fellowship and worship. We pray that God will speak powerfully to us through His Word and that our lives will be enriched as we come together this summer.
Over the coming months, we’ll be introducing our main stage speakers to you as we look forward to New Horizon 2023: 5 – 11 August in Coleraine.
Introducing Tony Horsfall
We are delighted that Tony Horsfall will be leading our 10am Morning Bible Teaching sessions from Monday 7 August to Friday 11 August in the Big Blue Tent.
After graduating from London School of Theology, Tony served as a missionary in East Malaysia, then as a pastor in West Yorkshire before heading up a missions training programme called EQUIP at Bawtry Hall (Doncaster). Since 2004, he has had his own ministry, Charis Training (www.charistraining.co.uk) and has a passion to see people grow in their relationship with God and become effective servants of God in life and ministry. He is the author of more than a dozen books, including Rhythms of Grace, Working from a place of Rest, Deep calls to Deep and most recently, Grief Notes.
Tony is deeply committed to providing care for those in Christian ministry at home and overseas, and loves nothing better than to lead people on retreat, taking quality time to be with God. He has been a regular seminar speaker at New Horizon for many years.

Volunteering with New Horizon
Volunteering at New Horizon is an amazing way to experience the event, to make new friends and serve the church in Northern Ireland. Teams work hard but also have so much fun. Teams spend time praying together, an opportunity to draw closer to God and to see exciting answers to prayer throughout the week.
Join one of our teams:
- Set up and Site – erecting & taking down the tent and taking care of the site.
- Stewarding – helping people to find their seats & helping with parking.
- Media Team – using your skills in writing, design, photography and videography to share what is happening at New Horizon.
- Audio Visual Team – using your skills to help with audio & visuals at New Horizon.
- Creche – caring for the youngest children on site to enable parents to enjoy the Bible Teaching and Seminars.
- Administration & Hospitality – General support for the event, i.e. staffing the information desks, speaker hospitality and other administration duties, etc.

Volunteer with Scripture Union
Would you like to help children learn more about the Lord Jesus? Registration is OPEN to join the Scripture Union teams at New Horizon (closes 31 March). Choose the age group that suits you: P1 – P4, P5 – P7 or SU SEN P1-7. Help run the programme, make new friends, draw closer to God and have so much fun! Teams run from 5 – 11 August 2023.
