Jonathan Rea is Chief Executive of New Irish Arts and director of the New Irish Choir and Orchestra. He is passionate about using the Arts to encourage people to worship God. After studying music in Cambridge, he taught in Bangor Grammar School for 15 years. He now combines his work in New Irish with a diverse career as a conductor, producer, arranger, writer, pianist and adjudicator. He is worship co-ordinator in Ballycrochan Baptist Church, and occasionally helps other churches with issues related to music and worship. He lives in Bangor with his wife Gill and their three entertaining sons.
