Session

Breaking free from porn

Session date: Tuesday 5th August 2014 Session time: 11:45 am - 12:45 pm Session location: LT6 Session track

Research shows that accessing porn is not only an unhealthy habit, it is and can become an addictive behaviour. For those struggling with this, they can feel shame and guilt. This subject is not talked about much, especially in the faith community. We believe that people can break free from this behaviour, especially when given the encouragement and support to do so. This seminar will look at how we can engage in the conversation about pornography and it’s impact. We will also offer practical help for those who walk alongside someone who is struggling with this issue. Resources will be highlighted that can be used as a tool in this context.
