Accessibility

At New Horizon, we want everyone to feel welcome, included, and able to participate fully in the week’s events. We are continually working to ensure that our venues, programmes, and resources are as accessible as possible, and we welcome feedback on how we can improve further.

If you have accessibility needs or questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our team:

Special Celebration for People with Intellectual Disabilities

Where

Co-Lab Lab

When

Wednesday

Time

11:30 – 13:00

This relaxed session includes interactive worship, prayer, Bible teaching, and moments of fun and drama. We use an easy-to-read Bible translation and create a calm, inclusive space for all attendees.

Family and friends are warmly welcome to join in this celebration.

Disabled Parking

Blue Badge holders may park in any University car park and in the designated area next to the Main Tent.

Spaces in the disabled carpark adjacent to the main tent will be allocated to blue badge holders on a first come first serve basis.

There is also a drop-off point near the Main Tent entrance for those with mobility issues who do not have a Blue Badge.

Support for the Hearing Impaired

BSL/ISL interpretation is available during:

  • Morning Bible Teaching
  • Evening Celebrations

A designated Signing Area will be clearly marked at the front of the Main Tent.

Translation

We will be running a translation service during the Morning Bible Readings and Evening celebration using Microsoft Translator
