Serve at On the Edge
OTE Volunteers
On the Edge (OTE) is New Horizon’s youth programme for those aged 11–15 (Years 8–10). Each year, over 200 teenagers gather for teaching, worship, workshops, and community — all designed to help them explore faith, grow in confidence, and encounter God in a real way.
We believe that meaningful transformation can happen in these years, and as a volunteer, you’ll play a vital part in creating the space for that to happen.
The Role
- Serve at both morning (10:00–13:00) and evening (19:00–21:30) sessions, Monday to Friday
- Lead or assist with small groups, encouraging open and respectful conversations
- Help facilitate interactive workshops, games, and teaching
- Be available to listen, guide, and support young people throughout the week
- Attend team meetings, devotions, and prayer sessions
- Be part of a fun, encouraging team that prays together and supports one another
Who Can Apply?
You don’t need to be perfect or have it all figured out — but you do need to be willing, teachable, and present. Your real-life experience of following Jesus, both the joys and challenges, is what makes you relatable and impactful.
If you’re newer in your faith, we’d encourage you to attend New Horizon as a participant first before stepping into a leadership role.
