About New Horizon

Uniting hearts, deepening faith, and empowering lives through Bible teaching, worship, and community.

New Horizon is a 7-day Christian conference held each August on the beautiful north coast of Northern Ireland at Ulster University’s Coleraine campus. Since 1989, thousands have gathered annually to worship, learn, and be equipped for mission in their everyday lives.

At the heart of New Horizon is a desire to create space where all generations can experience solid biblical teaching, inspiring worship, authentic community, and a renewed passion for God’s Kingdom.

With no upfront cost to attend adult sessions, New Horizon remains accessible to all — funded entirely by the generosity of supporters. The event includes a rich variety of programmes for adults, youth, and children, alongside seminars, prayer ministry, and a vibrant tented village that fosters fellowship and connection.

Statement of Faith

The one true God who lives eternally in three persons — the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

The love, grace and sovereignty of God in creating, sustaining, ruling, redeeming and judging the world.

The divine inspiration and supreme authority of the Old and New Testament Scriptures, which are the written Word of God—fully trustworthy for faith and conduct.

The dignity of all people, made male and female in God’s image to love, be holy and care for creation, yet corrupted by sin, which incurs divine wrath and judgement.

The incarnation of God’s eternal Son, the Lord Jesus Christ — born of the virgin Mary; truly divine and truly human, yet without sin.

The atoning sacrifice of Christ on the cross: dying in our place, paying the price of sin and defeating evil, so reconciling us with God.

The bodily resurrection of Christ, the first fruits of our resurrection; his ascension to the Father, and his reign and mediation as the only Saviour of the world.

Our Team

New Horizon is overseen by a dedicated Board and Management Team, alongside hundreds of passionate volunteers.

Each year, around 400 volunteers serve in areas including stewarding, children and youth programmes, admin, hospitality, prayer, media, and more. Their faithfulness is part of what makes the event so special.
